Fragrance Descriptions

Here is an alphbetical list and description of all of BASIC's fragrances:

Ancient Sedona: This fragrance is an Oriental Floral Amber. This sensual deep scent was named for the famous city in Arizona, invoking days of an old and a deeper, richer experience. It opens with green notes of Mandarin Leaf and Orange Blossom. Heart is heady night Floral, Bulgarian Rose, and Vetiver. Dry down has sensual notes of Sandalwood, Bourbon Vanilla, Amber, & Tonka Bean.

Arabian Spice: Filled with the aromatic scents of a romantic time past, Arabian Spice is a blend of Myrrh and Orange, with middle notes of Ginger, Cinnamon, and Cloves. It is rounded out with Caraway Seed and Vanilla to give it a warm, tranquil feeling. This scent is a perfect balance of spice, warmth, and sweetness.

Black Amber & Lavender: One of our most popular fragrances in any product! Deep and sophisticated, this fragrance blends rustic Amber with bold Parisian Lavender. Combined with these scents are mysterious Black Myrrh, dulcet vanilla Tonka Bean, and a splash of Egyptian Musk. Rounding out the fragrance is the addition of raw Clary Sage resulting in an earthy concoction with hints of sweetness and pleasing floral notes.

Blackberry Sage: A blast of rich, ripe Blackberry top notes combined with finishing notes of a mélange of freshly cut herbs. Sweet and earthy all at the same time. The Blackberry notes become even more pronounced and sweeter with the addition of heat.

Eucalyptus Spearmint: Invigorating eucalyptus and garden spearmint are brought together by lavender, citrus, and a touch of calendula for a very energizing fragrance.

Jasmine Dreams: Reminiscent of warm summer nights, this scent is a fairly basic single note blend with just a few extra notes thrown in for good measure. It is airy, light and finishes up with a powdery note.

Juniper Sage: Crisp, clean, brisk, and sporty, this fragrance captures the feeling of a snow covered ski slope. Made with a blend of the evergreen tree, Juniper and aromatic Sage with supporting notes of Bergamot, Geranium, and Amber, this fragrance is very suitable for any outdoor-oriented person. It also makes a great fragrance for winter holidays.

Oakmoss & Clary Sage: Soothing Sage combines with earthy Oak Moss for a fragrant aroma. Jasmine and Honey Rose join in with Cinnamon Spice and Cedar Wood for a splendid mix. This is by far the “earthiest” fragrance here. It is like having an aromatic campfire without the acrid smell of smoke!

Patchouli Rose: We're excited about this new fragrance. It is our first custom blended fragrance! Heavy on Smoke and Woodsy notes this deep, dark, and very masculine Patchouli is blended with English Rose. The straight rose oil smells like an English rose garden. Not as deep as other roses, but it is a true, light rose that when blended adds a nice rounded floral note to the heavily masculine Patchouli. Great as a unisex fragrance!

Pearberry: This scrumptious blend opens up with fruity notes of Pear, Apple, Peach, Raspberry, and Melon. The middle notes are a blend of Lilly of the Valley and Jasmine. The mix winds down to Musk and Vanilla. The end result: A wonderful fruity mix suitable for the home and the bath.

Plumeria Bouquet: This tropical fruit scent is great for spring and summer. The smell makes you want to wander onto the nearest plane and go island hopping. It is like sweet ambrosial nectar that is sure to please the most discerning nose.

Sage & Citrus: This is another extremely popular fragrance. It is a truly melodious blend of earthly Sage, luxurious Talc, and Lemon-lime; a perfect harmony for any age or gender.

Spiced Mahogany: This deep, rich, woodsy scent has notes of Italian Bergamot, Apple Wood, and Tonka bean to round out the darker, more sensuous Patchouli, Cedarwood, and Oakmoss. It is rounded out with spices of Cardamom, Vanilla Bourbon, and Allspice. It is a great masculine fragrance.
