May-retta Daze May 7 and 8, 2011
May-retta Daze is an annual, two day Arts and Crafts festival held the first weekend in May. The festival draws artists and craftspeople from many southern states, as well as local Georgia artists. In addition to a wide variety of arts and crafts items, the festival also includes children's activities and free entertainment on the stage. The show setting is at Glover Park in the Historic Marietta Square. The Square is the home of many antique and specialty stores, excellent restaurants and interesting things to do.

Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival March 26 and 27, 2011
The City of Conyers is proud to present the 30th Annual Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival on March 26 and 27, 2011 at the Georgia International Horse Park. The Conyers Cherry Blossom Festival has been named a prestigious "Top 20" event by the Southeast Tourism Society for March 2011. The Cherry Blossom Festival originated as a way to encourage cultural understanding and friendship through international music, dance, games, food and crafts. The festival offers multiple stages for continuous entertainment, over 300 booths consisting of arts and crafts vendors, various children's activities and civic and nonprofit organizations.
The hours of the festival are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. daily.
There is a $5.00 charge for parking for one day parking or an $8.00 parking pass is an option to attend both days of the festival. There is no admission fee

Christmas at Lassiter November 6 and 7, 2010
BASIC Soap and Candles will be at the Christmas at Lassiter Arts and Crafts Show. Artists and Crafters set up in the halls, the gym, and the lunch room. I know it is BEFORE Thanksgiving, but one can NEVER shop for gifts too early!

Harvest Square Festival October 16, 2010
BASIC Soap and Candles will be at the 34rd annual Harvest Square Arts and Crafts Festival. The festival will feature many local and area artists and craftspeople. Exhibitors will include painting, pottery, woodwork, metal, jewelry, glass, fabric and floral designs. Festival hours are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm in Glover Park on the Historic Marietta Square.

Sweet P's Arts Festival April 24-25, 2010
The Festival celebrates the work of a wide array of artists and craftsmen while supporting area families. The festival is considered one of the best planned and executed festivals in the Southeast. We anticipate record-breaking attendance but there is plenty of close-by parking, Juried Fine Arts Exhibitors and Marketplace Crafters, Live Music & Dance, Children's Art & Activities, Food Court with the best BBQ in Altanta,Raffles & Silent Auction in need.
