About BASIC Soap and Candles
Hey y'all,
I am southern born just one generation off of the farm. I grew up in a small South Georgia town that had a Piggly Wiggly and a Dairy Queen...and that's about it! I wouldn't change a thing, though. I really appreciate the small town childhood that I had.
I grew up hearing my family members tell stories about their childhood: picking cotton, working tobacco, drawing water from the well, and such. Among other things, my grandmother made the soap for her family of 10 children and husband out of lard (pig fat) and lye. I started making soap and candles to feel a little nostalgia and to have some unique holiday gifts one year. I ended up turning it into a business that I really enjoy.
Rest assured, there is no lard in my soaps...and they smell a whole lot better, too.

Yes indeed! Our candles are handmade; blended by hand, poured by hand, and the wicks are cut, set, & stretched by hand.

These are soap loves. They are just out of the mold and will cure for 30 days before being hand cut into 10 bars per loaf.
